Colette Caliper CII
This caliper is a cost-effective, standard performance braking solution for cars up to the upper-medium range. Key features are a captive pad abutment concept and a Colette guiding system that maintains a life-long seal. The lining area is adjustable through caliper sizes from 50 to 70cm2.
Premium Colette
A number of improvements have been made to the standard Colette to produce a premium version offering excellent stopping performance and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) refinements.
Colette IPB Caliper
In addition to the benefits of the standard Colette, the Integrated Parking Brake caliper features a highly efficient, ball-in-ramp actuating system and a variable cable connection port to allow flexible packaging. With clamp load capacities of 13kN, 18kN and 25kN, this caliper is designed for the complete range of passenger cars, small to medium vans and some light trucks.
FBC High-Performance Caliper
In the high-performance sector, appearance is key. The FBC’s thin-wide bridge design not only allows maximum rotor diameter for a given wheel size, but also gives a superior visual design appearance in the wheel. The FBC60 version also offers a larger liner area (75cm2), compared with other products in the market.
Composite Opposed Piston Caliper (COP)
With a pad abutment system similar to the FBC caliper, this product is a high-performance brake solution for high-end car models. This caliper is a lightweight composite design with aluminum housings and pistons and a speroidal graphite cast iron (SGI) adaptor.
Drum Brakes
TRW offers a selection of drum brakes comprising a Simplex-brake with automatic adjuster. The range covers 7 to 10in diameters with range in the overall dimensions from 180x25 to 255x59.
